Responsibilities


Walton County Human Resources serves as a business partner to County Administration providing strategic leadership and management of Human Resources function to attract and retain a quality workforce. 

 

The Walton County Human Resource Department’s Mission is to:

  • Recruit, select, and retain employees on the basis of their ability, knowledge, skills, and demonstrated performance
  • Provide a compensation plan and employee benefits which are fair and competitive
  • Train and develop employees to enable successful performance and provide personal growth
  • Assure fair treatment of applicants and employees in all facets of Human Resource Administration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, marital status, or political affiliation
  • Promote a dispute resolution procedure, which will provide prompt and appropriate settlement of employee disputes
