Functional Responsibilities
Repair and maintenance on all BCC vehicles and equipment
Procurement, storage, and distribution of fuel throughout 7 storage/fuel site locations
Procurement of parts needed for repairs
Provide road and field service repairs on disabled or non-movable equipment
Manage and coordinate repairs on vehicles involved in traffic accidents, vandalism, and theft
Provide wrecker/recovery services for disabled vehicles and equipment
Coordinate tire repair for field damaged vehicles and equipment as well as normal replacement because of wear, damage, etc. on all fleet assets
Coordinates CDL testing and training program for all employees
Coordinates the County auction to remove surplus items from the County fleet inventory
